Inner Peace: What The Prophet Knew Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions knew something that is not often displayed today. They were able to face difficulty with a certain determination in their heart; they were grateful for even the seemingly small blessings; they took pleasure in praying at night while the people were asleep and that gave them the inner peace. What they knew was this: if they sought Allah Almighty, they would not be let down.
