  The Quran (also spelled Qur'an or Koran) is the holy book of Islam, believed by Muslims to be the word of God (Allah) as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel over a period of approximately 23 years. It is written in Arabic and is considered the ultimate source of guidance for Muslims in matters of faith, worship, and daily life. Key Features of the Quran: Structure : The Quran is divided into 114 chapters called  Surahs , which vary in length. Each Surah is made up of verses called  Ayahs . The Surahs are not arranged chronologically but roughly in order of length, with the longer ones at the beginning and the shorter ones at the end, except for the opening Surah,  Al-Fatiha . Themes : The Quran covers a wide range of topics, including: The oneness of God (Tawhid). Stories of previous prophets (e.g., Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus). Moral and ethical guidance. Asr is one of the 5 mandatory (Fard) daily prayers for every Muslim. The  5 mandatory prayers, also known as Salah or Namaz, are the second pillar of Islam and a key component of an Islamic life. Asr is known as the  afternoon prayer,  since this is the time of day during which it takes place. Benefits of Asr Prayer:- “ The angels of the night and the angels of the afternoon go to you.
